(I have also discovered that Australia day brings all the people who seemingly have never been to the beach before to the...well, beach. It's impossible to surf as people pop out of nowhere the moment you finally catch something right in front of you, and do nothing but stare at you like a cow does at an oncoming train. Or better yet start walking right at you. OH WELL).

...I did well enough not just to do a Bacholar of Science degree, but a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) degree. O_o
Yay for advanced? XD I got the official offer from Sydney Uni today over the internet, and will get the letter tomorrow, whee. That and I still have about a month before uni actually starts...I suppose I better enjoy my free time while it lasts.
Also in half a year I get to go to Poland to visit family and whatnot, whee. With a day in Amsterdam and the possibility of Rome or something for a few days as well. Stuff's been pretty good for me recently. =D

It's too hot recently, although I guess I shouldn't be complaining. IN Adelaide it's been over 40 degrees Celsius. Yesterday in Melbourne they say it hit 45. O_o For you non-Celsius people - that's darn hot - amazing so little bush fires broke out.inbe4globalwarmingclaims
Went to karate for the first time this year, as the dojo just opened yesterday, whee. It's good to get some proper exercise not in my cramped home again, although tiring. XD Apparently first day back also meant 'you get an Icey Pole for free!', so hurrah for that (flavoured ice, really - nothing special, but hey, it's free!).
Saw that movie Avatar last week... thought it decent. Story was hardly original and predictable but I didn't expect it to be deep anyways and still thought it was carried well for what it's worth, even if it's Ferngully/Pocahontas/Dancing with Wolves IN SPACE (with blue people!). The 3D was pretty though. Entertaining, with an interesting antagonist, is how I'd summarize it I suppose.
I've started making random flash movies, whee (more programming in them than being artistic seeing my lack of skill with the latter for now). Currently making up a music player of GSC/HGSS music so people can compare the same tunes then and now! Hey, I'm bored and like the music. ;P
Oh and I predict discussions on a ban of a certain someone over the next few hours/days, seeing such discussions of someone tend to be frequently had on lj.
Haven't guessed yet? Well just look at the fanfic section for a bit, I suppose. ;P (Or someone else's lj).

Firstly, cheers for all of the birthday wishes, people. =D Much appreciated. Had a birthday party with friends last weekend, which was quite fun and full of garlic bread and pasta/pizza and CHOCOLATE PUDDING =D Also good old homemade cheesecake which is the best in the world btw. =D Got various stuffs, a good amount being of the $$$ kind, and some other stuffs like games/dvds, etc.
Anyways I'm off tomorrow to Tasmania. Should be fun, and full of trees and pretty stuff. And an absence of heat waves that are apparently going to hit my place in a few days. Yay for that. if so (but nay for people who live here). Already dumped our dog at a friend's place for the week, he's probably depressed as heck as usual about the whole deal. =/ Usually is moping about the first day or so whenever we go on a trip which he can't come on, but then apparently he 'gets better'.
Probably not going to have much in the way of internet access because hotels like advertising that they offer wifi but not the fact wifi costs moneys. And not some small amount either. -_- Amusing that some small place in the Blue Mountains though could do such a thing free of charge, but oh well. Maybe I can steal someone's connection in the few moments I won't be holidaying? Or maybe I'll just write for once or work on various... projects. XD
Someone told me I must post pictures when I come back so I suppose I will have to now. Because I'm too lazy to not do so or something now. -_-
Oh and a 'good luck' to the New Zealand football (i.e. soccer -_-) team who is playing for a position in the world cup tomorrow, whee. Helps that a player in the local team I support is playing for them. XD

Well, tomorrow my final high school exams begin. HOW EXCITING I KNOW MAN I'M SO LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS YEAHHHHHHHHH.

The schedule being:- 20th Oct: English 'Standard-Advanced' - two hours of writing about a litle something about BELONGING and how various texts fit represent the concept/s of BELONGING. In which I get random texts and questions thrown at me to relate to BELONGING, write a creative piece of writing on the spot, restricted into the theme of BELONGING and maybe other limits (e.g. hey guys here have a vague picture base the story around that), and an essay on Shakespeararararared's 'As You Like It' (unlike other texts, I didn't really like it) and some other texts of our choosing. Relating to BELONGING.
- 22nd Oct: English Advanced - 2 hours of MORE ESSAYS YAY. But one could be a SPEECH or something like that. Tops range from a play script called W;t (which had a witty title), and poems by John Donne and how they compare to each other. (For starters, they both have words in them!) Then a response to speeches made by people - none of you typical 'I Have A Dream' speeches though, oh no, just other, far lesser-known, less exciting speeches than that. And then a response to a book 'True History of the Kelly Gang' (not half bad, guy did the research), and other texts of choosing to HISTORY AND MEMORY AND all that jazz.
- 22nd Oct Midday: burning down English. No, not just english books...or the English block of buildings... just English in general. =D Then doing Maths studyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
- 27th Oct: Maths Ext 2 - the hardest one. Three hours of searching around for as many marks I can get. May the Herron be with me.
- 28th Oct: Maths Ext 1 - it's one less than two! COOL. 2 hour exam, I should be able to get all of this out. Scrap that - I will. (Gotta like grabbing positiveness from out of nowhere, no?)
- 28th Oct Midday: consuming maths books. Then doing software/physics studyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
- 3rd Nov: Software Design and Development - 3 hour test of answering questions pen to paper. It feels so wrong seeing it's a computer-based course. *shrug* Pretty much knowing and applying/writing stuff down. YAY I know stuff! Ends late afternoon...
- 4th Nov: Physics - and again in the morning - a three hour period of FUN. Again knowing stuff/writing stuff down/explaining and calculating, etc. All hail the right hand force-palm rule! FORCE PALM! Proof that Lucario can now do Physics.
- Right after that - NONSENSICAL SHOUTING AND LEVITATING TREES AND IDK WHAT.
Basically after that I'm free to do...stuff. Fun stuff. Fics to write (and fics to read for that matter), songs to learn how to play, learning how to 'draw' something beyond pimp Ninetales and some random Weepinbell...and a duck, Tasmania to visit for a week with family (because we can and Tasmania needs more love from the rest of Australia... Tom shall come) secret projects to continue/begin, countries to conquer, new flavours of chips to be- wait what do you mean uni's started?
But at any rate, until then, I have four months of general YAY-ness-ness to have. And birthday celebrating.... and getting results back...

On a totally different note from the last entry, I wish to inform you about the Pelican.
Pelicans are dangerous.Yesterday, I saw a chihuahua walk about a group of pelicans and seagulls by the beach.
One of the pelicans just bent its head down and swallowed it up whole, and then went off after getting it down its throat, as it was chased by a distressed lady. Holding a dog leash.
Probably the most disturbing and awesome and hilarious and disturbing moment ever.

Well, that's what talking to Redstar ends up being. A big fat waste of time. =)
Oh well, there's no point bothering continuing that debate given various aspects of that. And now I have a lot of things to amuse me. Such as Pokemon Yellow not being canon. And the manga being the same as the game canon (even though it's different, it's still the same!) Anyways going to use spare time more wisely now. ~~
(If you haven't a clue about it and like reading wall of text on extensions of the above, and probably many typos from me as well I may add, just go to the fanfic lounge on PC and go back a couple of pages where it all begins.)
EDIT: And now apparently he never argued his ideas weren't fan theory (then why did he keep the debate going if he never did? I sense someone trying to save face...), still claiming old footprint guy's work doesn't count because darn it, reading thoughts from footprints in a world full of Pokemon - you know, that franchise where we have creatures with super-powers and lots of other wacky stuff - is too stupid, but far less crazy than Pokemon being brainwashed by badges because the magna said so. Ignoring everything else as well. Riiiight. Then calls all of the arguments as attack. When the heck was Shrike attacking him? On a happier note, HeartGold/SoulSilver is really awesome. =D Kanto's back to about the FR/LG scale rather than the GSC version and the worlds look soo much better now and the new Safari Zone is really neat and Silver is even more awesome than ever and and... it's awesome!
And school's out for me for good, huzzah. Although over the next month I have the HSC exams (exams to get into unis all year 12s have to do) to worry about. At least I got a chapter out before now so I don't have to feel so guilty over a lack of time. Looking forward to next month when it's all over and I have 4 months to tackle my fic and many other projects. =D

Eh, I felt like posting this after discussing with other people. Gotta post something!
...well, actually I don't, but lj tells me otherwise. It keeps bugging me, sending me e-mails and all, sending their people to knock on my door late at night and make rude faces through the window...they're getting to me. They follow me to school. Every night, I wake up screaming, my face soaked with sweat. I don't know how much longer I can take this-
Anyways! Twilight, the book series everyone either loves or hates, is being made into an MMO.
I do not kid.
And more!Now, I've never read Twilight (I know what's happened in each book which admittedly sounds... errrugh in places, and have been warned against it for reading it may make me lose... many things, but I can't exactly judge it yet), but a book, especially Twilight... doesn't seem like something that's going to transfer into a game all that well. One of them Choose-your-own-adventure books, maybe. I HAVE JOINED THE LJ COMMUNITY AND I DON'T KNOW WHY.
Ok, actually, I do. Someone said to me "HEY look at my entry- wait, are you a member?", and I replied. "No, for I am lazy-pants man!" After a short interlude full of blackmail and laziness, I decided to join for the heck of it. EVEN IF I MAY NOT USE THIS MUCH.
Imagine my dismay when, upon filling out the forms, 'bobandbill' was already taken. THE HORROR. A POX ON THE IMPOSTER. ONLY I MAY HAVE A SILLY USERNAME LIKE THAT.
The person doesn't even use it! (I mightn't either all that much, but that's besides the point). And I created adventures for Bob and Bill. My creations!
Nonetheless, I went through with it, although sadly 'and' had to be sacrificed. But I am still suspicious.
